Photo: Nicole Reed<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This project came to be from the ideas of a couple of men in our town, James Hall &amp; Bruce Johnstone.&nbsp; TSWW auspiced the project to enable them to make their dream come true as part of the Pick-A-Project program in 2018\/19. The project involved working with VLine, VTrac, Mitchell Shire &amp; VicRoads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Newsletter<strong> <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(2005-2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For over 15 years we produced the fortnightly e-newsletter &#8221;WHAT&#8217;S HAPPENING&#8221; SEYMOUR &amp; SURROUNDS&#8221; that contained events, activities and information from Seymour and the surrounding area. The Community Planning Day was attended by nearly 50 people who added new ideas and collated the ideas into themes and goals. Suggestions from community members ranged from simple requests such as \u2018more trees planted\u2019 to grander ideas of a complex of connecting trails and pathways in and around Seymour. Respondents ranged in age from 5 to 86.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee together with a consultant have forged the following report for comment and further input from any interested person, community group and organization that is part of the fabric of the Seymour and surrounding community. The information reflects the goals and actions that came directly from the public consultations held in 2004. Each area is divided into goals, actions, progress partners, target dates and milestones.
